Jasiri discovers that the Pride Lands are in danger and go out to find Kion, accompanied by Janja. Janja tries do show her how much he loves her, but Jasiri's mind is with a certain lion. Will Janja win Jasiri's heart? What will happen to Kion? This story contains what the series didn't show us about Jasiri and Janja. It also have an alternate ending created by me. When a distrusting Scar sends Kiburi to do away with him, The Hyena must put his faith in an unlikely ally: Family. Meanwhile, Trouble's brewing in the Volcano. Scar has assembled his old pride to his cause. Will Scar's newest plan succeed? Or will it fail like all the others?

When his friend, Jasiri, disappears, Kion and his friends go out to find her. Meanwhile, Makini has been taking up fighting after being inspired by the Dragon Django. After hearing about a plot to ambush the Lion Guard, she, her brothers, and a new friend must find the courage to warn the Lion Guard of Scar's next plot.

After narrowly escaping an attempt from the Outlanders, Kion is not only left with serious injuries, but the Ire of his father for befriending a lion's sworn enemy. Now, he must regain his confidence as Scar's Army is on the Rise. Meanwhile, tragedy looms in the backlands, and Jasiri will learn that friendship can overcome any disputes.
