TL;DR- Rain falls head over heels for you. Long slow burn, fluff, and incredible angst ensues. Eventual happy ending included. Love was not something you or Rain ever understood, whether it be between mother and father, between friends and peers, or between you and the universe. After being shunned by your church for reasons you were not the blame for, a church of the antichrist extended their kindness to help a lost soul. Rain was in the same bin as you, and having to heal from the trauma and abuse you had both suffered in your lives was not a one-day process. But with your new found friends, Papa Emeritus III as your best friend and mentor, the ghouls accepting you in their lives, your new job in the clergy, and a quickly developing romantic relationship with the shy bassist, your lives become a lot more happy than they ever were before.

After being summoned by Sister Imperator years ago, he was always treated the harshest by her for acting out and being himself. Till night day he had enough of the judgement and abuse, so he ran away from the ministry while everyone else was sleeping. It was raining outside and when you heard something on your porch, you saw him soaking wet and shaking as he looked at you with his amber and grey blue eyes filled with sadness and fear. *Unfinished*

I stared at the two hellish looking creatures that had welcoming grins on their faces, if you put aside they fangs that poked out under their upper lips. "Say that again?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. "You signed the contract from hell, we are your faithful servents." The tall one nodded. "I didn't sign shit." I scoffed, starting to shut the door. "Actually, Miss Alyson, you did." The shorter one said as he shoved a paper into my hand as his foot stepped between the doorway. I grabbed the paper from his hands, frowning as my eyes glanced over it. It was my hand writing. I opened the door back up, scowling at the two. "May we come in, Miss Alyson?" The taller cocked his head, the smile still very intact. "No." I huffed as I slammed the door, quickly locking it.

my grandfather was everything to me. his death stabbed a hole through my heart which was ripped further when his funeral was brushed off and his grave seemed to never exist. death is merciful, but the remains of it's path are nothing but miserable. though, there seems to be a penitence to death. there's always a wave of good that follows it's tragedy. a better job, a new friend, friendships strengthening, relationships developing, families unifying, etc.. a better life, no matter how guilty the thought is. life moves on without one-it wouldn't matter if i kept up or not. but i did. and as much as i hate to admit it, my grandpa's passing was balanced by the favorable existence of death's remorse. happy reading !! started: 1.29.23 - 7:20 pm hiatus: 9.7.23 - 8:29 pm ended: n/a exulansis_writes©️2023 [she/they please<3]
