Dear readers. My name is Hunter. I am a engine driver here on The Fat Controller's railway. I'm lucky that I get to drive Douglas! The Scottish Twin! Along with the stoker Kristina and the guard Mistie. We make a cracking crew! I got this journal as a gift from James guard, Nova said she saw it and knew it was perfect for me! So. A volcano near the island of Sodor erupts and Molly, Emily and Neville got to brave the events of the eruption to get everyone to safety.

A New Power station is Built on the little western between Arlesburgh and Norramby to generate more power for the Island but some strange chemicals are being used for it. But one day the power station suffered a system failure and it caused the chemicals to leak out of the power station and spread all over Sodor infecting engines and people. Will the engines be able to survive and escape or will they become infected creatures, find out in this adventure we go on into the year 1988.

Sodor is a place of happiness and joy. A place where living engines work. However things go horribly wrong as a disease spreads throughout the island turning people into monsters hungry for flesh.

When Gordon The Big Engine heads out on a stormy afternoon express run, everything goes wrong as he is stuck by lightning and his driver, "Keith" and replacement fireman, "Ted" are transported into another world.

The year is 1973. Life is normal on the Island of Sodor. Contracts were being made, and buildings being built. A nuclear power-plant on the Brendam had been built, but after that... all hell broke loose.
