DC--- This is the sequel to Heatwaves tbhyourelame summary: After years of online calls, late night texting, and out of sync sleep schedules, Sapnap and George finally visit Florida. Dream's aspiration to truly know himself is met with the return of missed chances, and uncertainty. Placed in the dead center of his humid, overwhelming life, he and George are bound to confront the inevitable. "Has it rained?" George asks suddenly. Dream's thoughts snap away from the drifting green and cloudless sky, returning to earth once more. His lips part in silence. George's voice was soft when he'd uttered the words, and for a reason he cannot place, Dream finds himself glancing to the back of Sapnap's head before responding, "Since...summer?"

George, Dream and Sapnap are finally meeting up, but Dream soon realises something is completely wrong. What is George hiding? Why is he wearing those hoodie all the time and why doesn't he want to talk about his parents at all? That's not the only thing he starts realising. Dream finds himself in an introverts worst nightmare when Sapnap convinces him to host seven of their close friends for Sapnap's 21st birthday. The only thing holding Dream together was knowing he could finally meet his best friend, George, in person. However, the person who stepped off the plane felt like a complete stranger to Dream- an unrecognizable personality inhabiting the body of the person he thought he knew better than anyone in this world. Two of the city's superheroes fight villians and protect the city whilst keeping their true identities a secret. They cannot even know the names of each other, their faces disguised by their magical jewels. Dream is a flirty, cocky and impulsive hero with a sword and a smirk, never failing to cast witty and flirty remarks at his partner. GNotFound is clever and calculated, and can't stand being near the flirty masked hero. Exams, friend groups, crushes, fights and prom should be their main stressors. But George and Clay barely have time to sleep, let alone focus on anything else. None of that stops George from crushing hard on his classmate, but Clay's heart seems to be somewhere else. Perhaps with a certain masked hero he secretly spends nearly every day with. Neither can escape the responsibilities on their shoulders, and they can't tell anyone their problems. The only person that could possibly understand what they are going through, is each other. But they don't even know who that is. Which is Super inconvenient. It was just Dream and Sapnap when the apocalypse began, when the entire country flipped upside down and they were thrown into a life of killing and surviving.
