Gemmidsir or Gem is the youngest princess of a city of Dragons. Her older, but not eldest, brother is Smaug. Dwikn is the eldest brother, and Smulikn is her older sister. Technically she wasn't actually born, she was created from one of her mother's scales. Her purpose: to love everyone and everyone loved her in return, in a familial way, it was impossible not to. Smaug killed their mother, and almost did the same to their father and eldest brother, when he grew jealous of Dwikn. Turning into his blood red Dragon form he flew away from their kingdom only to end up finding the lonely mountain and stealing it. Because of Smaug all of Dragon-kind had to hide the fact they were dragons, in fear of what the humans would do to them. Gem had met Gandalf before when he saved her life and as a Dragon she owed a life debt to him. So Gandalf asks Gem to join him on a journey to reclaim the lonely mountain and wash away the stain from her people called Smaug. (Disclaimer: I only own my OC's)
