"You're so lame." Alexander comments as he walks into the kitchen. "Shut up, I don't care." I scoff as I continue to make myself a sandwich. "You know, maybe guys will notice you more once you stop wearing your father's clothes." He teases and at that moment, I turn around to face him and give him a fuming glare. "Leave me alone." I hiss through gritted teeth before storming out of the kitchen, leaving behind my sandwich. ✕❤︎✕❤︎✕❤︎ A 16 year old girl named Courtney is not your average teenager. As I got closer I could hear them. Sirens blasting from every direction. My hands started sweating, a sickening feeling in my stomach. It was like I knew before I saw it. Smoke up ahead, now I could hardly breathe. I didn't want it to be true. Police were standing around the scene. Two cars smashed into bits, blood everywhere. I was trying to read the license plate but my eyes wouldn't allow me to. I already knew. I could recognize his navy blue truck anywhere. I was there when he got it. "No."
