A Drarry Short Story set during the Battle of Hogwarts with a back story that goes back to May of Harry and Draco's sixth year, just after the incident in the Boys' Bathroom. I break the canon in this one (I mean outside the usual Drarry bit) but also try to fit it within the canon, if that makes sense. This was a very specific request for the battle scene from Draco POV, hence the title. Chapters alternate between battle scene and flashbacks in italics to denote backstory.

It started with just seven steps to try and win Potter's affection, but life and relationships are rarely as easy as a checklist on a piece of parchment.

In which Harry Potter has twenty-five days to gather the courage to tell Draco Malfoy he loves him. This, of course, includes all of the cheesiest, cutest tropes I can put in, including Truth or Dare, mittens, pink noses from the cold, snowflakes, walks in Hogsmeade in the snow, snowball fights, and, of course, enchanted mistletoe.

Eighth year, at Hogwarts. Hermione decided it would be a lovely idea for some inter-house unity! After all, the Sorting Hat was right, right? Nothing would possibly go wrong. Definitely nothing like Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy involving in a full-on flirting/seducing competition. ✧✧✧✧✧ Some fluff, some teensy tiny smut (only a little and very light I swear), and loads of party games.

Drarry. Harry and Draco return to Hogwarts for their eighth year. Their rivalry seems to have fallen apart, and perhaps, with the help of a ball, and not-so-unfortunate rooming circumstances, that fractured rivalry will turn into something new.

After realising that Ginny is not for him, Harry starts an "enemies with benefits" relationship with Draco Malfoy. What was supposed to be just meaningless fun soon turns into something more and both boys will have to deal with it. Luna and Ginny are really close friends, but a series of events brings them closer than ever... Could this be a romantic relationship instead? Drarry/Linny. A hint of Romione.
