This story is not for everyone. Not every marriage hides a gentle love story. Not every man is a hero. And not every girl is born brave enough to fight back. Some girls are raised to stay silent - taught to obey, to endure, to sacrifice. Their fear becomes their cage, their hesitation the reason they lose pieces of themselves little by little. And some men grow up believing power is love, dominance is care, and a wife exists only to surrender. This is not a fairytale. No prince is waiting at the end. Bound by an unexpected marriage to a man eight years older than her - a man once meant to become her brother-in-law - she is forced into the lavish yet suffocating world of the ruthless CEO of Acharya Industrialisation Pvt. Ltd. A man worshipped by society, feared by his employees, and shaped by a royal family where husbands are treated like gods and women are expected to kneel without question. He does not believe in love. He believes in possession. What begins as innocent hope slowly turns into quiet horror. Every gesture she once mistook for affection reveals something far darker beneath it. Her dream of a normal marriage dies a little more each day, until all she longs for is a single moment to breathe without fear. And him? He is not written to be redeemed easily. This story carries fragments of reality - the truths many women still live through behind closed doors, hidden beneath wealth, status, and perfect family names. It is cruel, emotional, uncomfortable, and painfully human. So read at your own risk. Because some stories are not meant to comfort you. Some are meant to haunt you.

"If two people fall in love and their parents meet and get them married, we call it a 'love-cum-arranged' marriage. So here's the discription you're looking for 👀 "Aditya Narayan Iyer is a brilliant, yet intensely reserved medical professor At AIMS Chennai, whose strict demeanor and unwavering dedication to his craft, conceal a complex and deeply guarded heart." He was the professor no one could ignore. She was the girl everyone overlooked. Professor Abhimanyu, 32, wasn't just another name on the faculty list...he was a presence. Known for his sharp mind, unmatched work ethic, and an aura of quiet authority, he taught Architectural Design like it was more than a subject... like it was a language of the soul. But he wasn't easy to keep. In just two years, he had already left two prestigious universities...never for better offers, but for something far more rare: his self-respect. He refused to compromise his dignity, no matter the cost. Then came Amrita. A final-year student. Always present, yet invisible. Always silent, yet full of unspoken thoughts. She wasn't the girl people noticed..she was the one they laughed at. The one who tried to fit in but somehow became the punchline instead. Shy. Introverted. "Boring," they called her. But they never really saw her. Because beneath that quiet exterior lived a mind that felt deeply, imagined endlessly, and observed everything. And yes... She had a crush on him. Just like many others. But unlike them, hers wasn't shallow admiration. It was something softer. Something deeper. She didn't just notice his looks, she noticed the way he spoke about design, the way he stood by his principles, the way he never pretended to be someone he wasn't. And maybe... he noticed something too. Not the loudest voice in class. Not the brightest attention-seeker. But the girl who stayed back, whose designs carried emotions no one else could draw, whose silence spoke louder than words. What happens when a man who values dignity above everything meets a girl who has never been valued at all? When admiration turns into understanding... When silence turns into connection... When two completely different worlds begin to align.. A story begins. Not loud. Not rushed. Not perfect. But real. Ranks - No.1 in Slowburn (24 feb 2025)
