The final hour of the popular virtual reality game Yggdrasil has arrived. However, Y/N and Momonga, one a powerful gunslinger and the other a renowned wizard and master of the dark guild Ainz Ooal Gown, choose to spend their last moments in the game as the servers begin to shut down. To their surprise, even after the clock strikes midnight, Y/N and Momonga remain fully conscious within their characters, and the non-player characters seem to have developed personalities of their own. Faced with this unprecedented situation, Y/N and Momonga command their loyal servants to help them investigate and establish control over this new world. They hope to discover what caused this strange phenomenon and whether there may be others trapped in the same fate.

Momonga has a son named (Y/N) IRL. He took care of him ever since his GF died while in child birth. When his son was 10 Momonga showed him a DMMO-RPG game called Yggdrasil and let him into his and his friends clan of Ainz Ooal Gown. (Y/N) made his character using a feature called gene combiner so his ingame character is the son of Momonga and Albedo. 8 years later and thousands of in-game hours and thousands of dungeon raids later the servers of Yggdrasil are closing. Momonga and his son have decided to spend the last hours of the game online and wait for the servers to shut down. After all both the father and son have fond memories of their time in Yggdrasil. I do not own the anime series or the manga. All of those rights go to their owners.

Y/N, otherwise known as U/N, the most feared player in YGGDRASIL. The reason behind this wasn't just his stats or that he could wipe out whole guilds solo, it was due to him having a personal race. The Reaper Race, which was given to him by the GM's for being the first player of YGGDRASIL. Little do people know that he is apart of a guild, specifically the guild known as Ainz Ooal Gown, another little fact is that he was one of the founders of the guild. (For the most part this story will follow the Anime but it wont completely follow the show.) (I own nothing all images go to the creators and the anime Overlord goes to its rightful owners, except the idea of this story and a few drawings which I will put a little thing saying its mine by the image.)

Summary: Y/N and Momonga are great friends in the game Yggdrasil, but the game was coming to a close and would forever be unplayable. Momonga was spending the last few hours until the game closes. After the game closes he finds himself in another world, but everything looks like the game. Yggdrasil is a DMMO-RPG game that server are gonna be shut down. While in it's glorious days there was a player that became game's world boss after the events that happened to him in real life while he also was the leader of Ainz Ooal Gown. On the final hours of the game he with his friend were logged but what happened next changed everything as the king of curses has been unleashed.

"I.... Must.... [Devour]....." That phrase always brings chills down every players spine when heard in the murky swamps of Yggdradil in it's first release, a phrase that can be categorized as "phrases you don't want to hear a second time". Players speculate that this was an NPC or an Intelligent monster that the developers made but they responded with: "We did no such thing", it brought everyone nightmares, the unknown will always bring despair to those who know of it existing but that unknown was soon discovered. "So you're the so called 'With Many Voices'..... You seem lonely here, would you like to have some friends..?" The 'creature' was sceptical, never in it's whole virtual life has anyone approached or even talked to it before but nevertheless agreed. When it entered a dungeon looking guild, it was greeted with open arms and smiles, this brought the creature into tears then it spoke. "Carrion....is his name..... Carrion.....is happy....!" And so [Carrion] became a part of a family, a family that was named [Ainz Ooal Gown].

Instead of Naofumi Iwatani summoned as the Shield Hero, it was his little brother Y/N Iwatani who was summoned instead. Now Y/N must learn how to fight and survive, along with three other Heroes, in this new world to save it. But what if there was one more Hero that only a select few know of them. Will this Hero be Y/N Allie or will they looked down on them like the others. Sorry if this description was bad. Lastly I don't own The Rising of the Shield Hero and Sword Art Online.
