A few years after the events of the Dragon Crystal, a quest is set out to find the Staff of the Sea and a Magical Staff of Mythical Power. Little is known about these two staffs and little is know about who may betray them at the very end.

Many years ago, the King and Queen of the Shimmer Kingdom had two children; Princess Gladen and Prince Gedroren. Believed to be the next ruler of the kingdom, Prince Gedroren was coddled. However, the sudden disappearance of the Queen led to the Sun Staff picking the new ruler of the Shimmer Kingdom; leading to the discovery Princess Gladen was chosen. The sourness was hidden by Prince Gedroren, but he wanted to be ruler, showing how he would do anything for power.

After King Zuva is crowned ruler of the Shimmer Kingdom, his first order of business is to figure out what to do with the dragon problem as they kill more and more people every day. After his meeting with the Queen of the Rust Kingdom goes horribly wrong, he decides to speak with his top knight. They wait for the nerve wracking day, watching a project go horribly wrong, losing a valued member of their ranks. The negotiation of the dragons goes horribly wrong, leaving king Zuva to be the only leading power of his kingdom...

10 years after the events of the Endless Nights, life goes on as usual as Sudore goes to knight school in the Shimmer Kingdom but an unfortunate event happens which cause him to go on a dangerous quest to receive all 6 Dragon Crystal shards. Him and two other will face challenges as they go around the lands of Kacapia and Akreta to gather. Will they get all the crystals or will they fail and cause the lands to fall?

In the far land of Kacapia, the Kingdom of Shimmer stands at the top of a hill, holding the most powerful mask in the land, the mask of endless nights. Froid, a young boy in training to become a knight, stumbled across this odd object but during a battle, takes the mask and runs away from the kingdom to explore the world, will he turn into the cold hearted villain once the mask takes over or will he power through it and save the land of Kacapia from an impending doom?
