When I was young, it wasn't hard for me to sense what was right or wrong. That was because I have a family who helped make me the person who I am now.. This is a monologue created based on the story, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. This monologue is in the eyes of Clarisse McClellan.

This girl is named Lily, who loves being alone. She enjoyed the peace and quiet that came with solitude. Her friends and family always wondered why she preferred staying in her room, reading books, or watching movies alone. Her parents were worried about her being lonely, and her mom stepped in by trying to set up blind dates for her..

As the 5 venture out into the forest, the patchy sky and stars are seen in glimpses through tree breaks with the wind slipping through leaves. Twisting and jerking at every unfamiliar sound, they stumble upon something never seen before.. Part two, chapters 4 and 5, are a work in progress.

Wet from the early spring fall, the ground was dark and moist. Decorated with curled-up deceased leaves, they are immersed in the ground. The 3 kids cut through the forest to an opening, near the glistering lake. Not too far from the kids' cabin, they gather around the sizzling camp fire.. Funfact: this is a script that my group and I used (we were four people) and performed it in a class. I re-wrote the original script into a "script-story".

It has already been 5 years, running and hiding all day long as if I had nothing to live for. Always looking for something to eat, always fighting and never stopping for a break.. Thought I'd share a short story I made in 2020.
