Ralph Abucay is the president of the University Performing Arts Guild-smart, refined, and absolutely allergic to drama. For him, college is all about excellence, discipline, and finishing his degree without scandal. But his peaceful world is turned upside down when a viral TikTok video "accidentally" frames him as the secret boyfriend of Zack Dela Cruz-the most notorious, charming, and chaotic campus heartthrob-slash-theater prodigy.
Zack doesn't mind the rumors. In fact, he finds the idea entertaining. But when Ralph confronts him, Zack proposes a wild idea: pretend they're really dating to keep their guild in the public eye and boost their chances of getting full funding for the upcoming National Arts Festival. At first, Ralph refuses. But when sponsors start pouring in due to their supposed "BL couple chemistry," he's forced to play along-for the guild's sake, of course.
As the two navigate their fake romance, they become closer than they ever expected. Ralph begins to see the soft side of Zack-the way he cares for his younger cousin Nouie, or how he secretly writes lyrics about heartbreak. Zack, on the other hand, is drawn to Ralph's quiet strength and his secret vulnerability.
But when Kaleb-Ralph's childhood best friend and ex-boyfriend-returns back to the university and starts acting like he still has feelings for him, the line between what's fake and what's real begins to blur. Is Zack getting jealous? Is Ralph starting to question everything? And most of all-are they really just pretending anymore?
