Jack had never given much thought to the mark on his wrist, the one that told him he had a soulmate out in the world. He was always more the one night stand than soulmate kinda guy. One thing he never expected though was to find his match in Alex Gaskarth, a twenty something single dad just trying to give the best life he can to his daughter.

Alex is homeless, playing his acoustic on the streets just to get by, that is until Jack shows up. Jack gives him his leather jacket in a moment of kindness that Alex never forgets. Years pass and Alex is a famous musician but Alex still has the jacket, searching for it's owner even if it's just to say thank you.

This is a Jalex high school story. Yes this is boyxboy. Don't like it, don't read it. This takes place after Alex's brothers death and how/if he recovers.

Jack is Rian's teacher, and Alex is Rian's big brother. When Alex goes to a meeting at school he gets more than he expected.

Jack is very confident, and loved to have fun. He took risks, and made people laugh. He was extremely cocky. He loved to control people, and stood up for himself, and others. On the other hand, alex is very shy, and doesn't know what to do when jack puts him on the spot. Jack is determined to make alex his and alex is a bit annoyed. Alex is very nervous and self conscious when it comes to jack. Jack makes him uncomfortable, but alex secretly likes it. And no matter how hard he tries to deny it, to deny that he's gay for jack, he knows deep down he's starting to like him. Will alex go in denial, and reject jack, and hurt him emotionally? Or, will jack take control?
