Modern AU-Avatar universe. Aang ran away and became a refugee in the fire nation. One day he collapsed on the sidewalk from exhaustion. He thought he was gonna die but then a woman in blue sneakers passed by and saw Aang and rolled him an apple to eat. Aang tried to look up to see who it was but couldn't but instead saw the girl's shoes.

When Katara, Princess of the Southern Water Tribe, who never believed in love crosses paths with Aang, Air Nomad and Avatar from the Southern Air Temple who never experienced love, their lives take a dramatic change. During this time, an increase in the Fire Nation's strength led to a turbulent imbalance in the world and the Fire Lord declares war upon the other nations.
