He was a tornado that came into my life and turned everything upside down, but to be fair I was lost and confused even before he came into my life. People would say I was uptight and needed to relax and have fun, but how can you have fun when you were constantly trying to be perfect. My main goal in life was to win the Mavis Van Hoogen trophy at the end of high school. This trophy meant everything to me, it was given to the student that was poised, graceful well spoken, helpful, well behaved and basically everything parents dream their perfect child to be. I wanted to be perfect and this trophy told everyone that I was perfect, but after I won it I felt completely lost. Without any direction, I followed my parent's wishes and set off to study at the University of Cape Town. On the way, I met him he had taken the bus to Cape Town after flipping a coin.
