She wakes up in a metal box, cold and alone. Gone are her memories of her past, her friends, her family; all she knows is her name. Riley. She clings to it like a lifeline, the last part of her that remains. Thrown into a mysterious, huge maze filled with equally as confused and angry teenaged boys, walls that move at night and the monsters that roam behind them, it's a case of survive or die. Meanwhile, Riley finds herself growing closer to the kindhearted, intelligent Newt. When Thomas arrives in the maze, could he be the missing link to her forgotten past? Can she escape WICKED, or will she die trying?

The first time Nicole wakes up she is in a white room she can't see anything she can hear things, next thing she knows she's being injected with a needle against her will. Then when she wakes up she is in the middle of the Maze, she hears voices and goes towards them only to find that she falls into the arms of Newt. Nicole developes strong feelings for this boy but dosen't know whether he fells the same way, she has to try and survive this maze being one of the only girls beside Teresa her new friend.
