"I c-called 911." So predictable. "Yo-you'll end up in hell for this," he stammered as Raven smoothly grabbed the gun she had snagged earlier from Alistair's pocket and aimed it at him.
"You're right about that," the midnight-black haired woman taunted, "But I'm afraid there's a special place in hell for me." And Raven pulled the trigger, resisting the urge to cover her ears and instead watched as he hit the ground in a red mess of his own greed. "It's called a throne."

On her own since she could legally move out, Raven is vicious. A killer. And known for one main thing: her inability to be caught.
But despite being a criminal, Raven is certainly not heartless-at least when it comes to her younger sister, Elena. So when Raven is left with a cryptic note from a mysterious person she has never met before claiming that they have taken Elena, she's absolutely livid.
However, instead of giving into the demands posed in the message, Raven comes up with a plan of her own-get Elena back. But she's not arrogant enough to believe she can do it solo, and decides to strike up a deal with none other than the people she has been running from all along: the police.
In a race to find her sister before it's too late, Raven is left questioning where her loyalties lie-especially as tensions spark between her and the police chief. The line between morally right choices and selfish decisions is very grey... and the odds of betrayal and violence are very high.
At the end of the day, there's always the same question. What will Raven do next?
