New challenges await the turtles. The turtles meet another teenager named Casey Jones a friend of April who develops a crush on her. In spite of their own demons, the sisters are not alone as they battle their own demons. From Japan, Shredder brings Tiger Claw with him, an assassin that becomes Shredder's second in command and it is no secret that the sisters are familiar with Tiger Claw. In an effort to bait the turtles and Splinter, Shredder takes Karai hostage and threats to mutate her, while he wishes to mutate the turtles into snakes but something else takes place instead. These challenges are only the beginning for turtles.

The turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo venture to the surface for the first time they meet female turtles and they learn that the Kraang are using the mutagen as part of their plan to take over New York City. Will the boy turtles find out that the girls are the bad guys?

There is another snapping turtle named Jamey who wears a red mask, a spiny softshell turtle named Cheyenne who wears a purple mask, a turtle named Jesse who wears a blue mask, and another ornate box turtle named Tasneem who wears an orange mask. A hidden magical realm lies beneath the sewers of New York City, and the eight turtles work together to uncover it. They are rising up against evil and paint the city green with each other they discover their Destiny and Rise Cowabunga!!

Then, when Yoshi found the knife and pulled it out, they considered it a plot to kill the sensei, so Yoshi was banished from the Foot Clan. Hope was not at all happy with Saki and wanted him to be a man and told the truth but all it was made Saki madder. From then on, Saki took over the Foot Clan and took the once noble clan and turned it into an army of crime while his wife keep him away from his daughters and she has taken the girls away from him by moving away.
