Shiro tricks Keith to follow him back to the Blade's HQ, because they were going to join the debriefing for the coalition... In reality, Shiro was asked by Kolivan to bring the red paladin for a mandatory checkup, and things took a turn.

After being away from earth for so long Coran starts worrying about the paladins health and conducts a checkup on the team to make sure they are healthy. Then trouble appears because of a tiny needle.

The galras have been laying low and the team decided to take a mini vacation on a planet nearby. Problem arises when the castle suddenly shuts down and the team is stranded on a non-galra friendly planet which causes trouble for Keith, cause he's half galra. Until the team can fix the castle, Keith is basically stuck in the infirmary which he doesn't like the slightest.

Keith is sick with a throat infection and Shiro notices, but obviously Keith ignores his recomendation to rest and ends up in the infirmary with Shiro being mean to him, not letting him go. When Coran told him about what he would do him, Keith stuggeles with all his might but loses the fight, until Lances comes in and tries to convince Keith to cooperate.

Keiths doesn't even notice that he got hurt and leaves a trail of blood making the other paladins very worried.

It'll make more sense if you read the first book before this, but it's fine. Everyone finds themselves getting closer to each other, becoming stronger fighters, people, friends and family. Might be more fluff and angst ;) I own the story but the characters are from Voltron Legendary Defender (I don't own the cover.)

Keith and Shiro are Galra (they grew up on Altea) Keith has his parents, while Lance is an adopted orphan. There is a type of Galra called Crypts they are genderless Altea still exists I don't own the characters, they are from Voltron Legendary Defender, by Dreamworks (I didn't make the cover) This one is set on Earth as Keith crash landed there trying to find the blue, green and yellow paladins. Lance is learning more about himself. There may be some angst and fluff 😁😉
