Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done. During their first year the class was having a sleepover. Bakugou admitted to why he never gave anyone a chance at dating. There was nothing competitive about it so it didn't fit with his image. So his classmates came up with an idea to make it competitive since most of them had liked the idea of dating the handsome blond.

Todoroki seems to see right through him and it's scary. The other teen just shrugs. "I don't think I know anything. I just know you've been sad and I don't like it. That's all." Or Mitsuki dies and Bakugo is dead set on keeping the information from everyone. The problem is Todoroki.

Tears formed in his eyes and all he wanted to do was run away and cry. Cry about how pathetic he was for the way he felt towards a now engaged man... Kirishima proposed to his girlfriend of 4 years, Ashido Mina. ... A story in which Bakugou and Sero help each other cope with their unrequited love and end up falling in love along the way. (Bakugou loves Kirishima and Sero loves Mina) But happy endings don't just happen. And it's even harder when the world seems to be against you.
