When Amity was forced to cut ties with Willow and was sent away for four years of High School. In the meantime, Luz stumbled into the Demon Realm making it her new home. When the Blight Industries Heiress returned to Bonesborough to continue her education at the Hexside Academy she was surprised to learn a human was living in the Demon Realm. A human who apparently became her childhood best friend's best friend.
