Makino já avia perdido as contas de quantas vezes a mesma chegou a quase perder a cabeça de tanta preocupação com o pequeno Luffy, por mais que aquele vilarejo fosse minúsculo, Luffy fazia ele ser 10 vezes maior quando ele sumia. Mas agora ela não precisava mais se preocupar, já que dês de que os piratas do ruivo ( Shanks) fizeram aquele pequeno vilarejo de base por algum tempo, tanto quanto seus tripulantes, tanto o seu capitão tratavam o pequeno garoto como um deles, e nunca permitiriam que algo ou alguém fizesse mal a o garoto .
