[edited version of Doctor for the Mafia] Ila Archer was a doctor working at one of the best hospitals in New York. She loses her license and ability to practice due to, as punishment, taking full responsibility for the 'walking patient' incident. After a full month, Ila runs into the 'walking patient'. Knowing her situation caused by his actions, he offers a once in a lifetime opportunity. ----- "Look, you're a doctor-" He started. "Was." I corrected. "I was a doctor." "You can still be," he said, running his fingers through his dark hair. "Look, you can work for us, and I'll pay triple the amount you were earning at that lousy hospital." "Us?' I asked. Who was he? How exactly does he plan on paying me triple? He grabbed my wrist and pulled me inwards. My face inches away from his chest. With his free hand, he was gently tucking my hair behind my ear. His breath tickled my ear as he whispered two words that sent shivers down my back. "The Mafia."

"One kiss won't hurt, right? Just one, I promise" He whispered holding my face. "It's wrong" I said. I knew I was just lying to myself. "I've waited so long for one kiss" He whispered his lips a breath away from mine. "When you left I thought I meant nothing to you. You can't do this to me now" I said feeling vulnerable. "I'll show you just how much you mean to me"

She looked so adorable yelling at a man twice her size. Villain lifted her up and Kaia wrapped her legs around his waist. She cutely yawned and laid her head on Villain's chest. Kaia almost fell asleep, letting him take care of her. He lathered her hair in shampoo, skillfully using one hand. The other strong arm held Kaia up firmly. After properly conditioning her hair, he returned her to the shower floor. The petite girl grabbed onto Villain's biceps, almost falling. He made quick work of rubbing soap all over her small frame. It took every ounce of control in him, to not push her up against the shower wall and slip into her heat. When Kaia was completely clean and the soap was washed off, Villain held the shower door open. His tiny girl was tired, and he didn't want her to wait up for him. After giving Villain a sleepy smile, she left him to clean himself. She felt bad when the corner of her eye caught Villain turning the water cold. ♡♡♡♡♡ Mama says he'll have his way with me. "Look at me" He demanded. I flinched at the tone he used but lifted my head to look at him. I stared at the wall behind him. I couldn't look at him. "Into my eyes" He added in the same tone. I took a deep breath and landed my gaze on him. I saw a ghost of a smile form on his lips. He seemed happy but I could see his eyes watering, making his inky blue eye color appear lighter. "You never look at me" He whispered. I could hear a crack in his voice. "Before you I thought I was nothing-" He smiled bitterly, "-but when you look at me I feel like I'm worth something. Weird right?" My heart was beating loudly as he got closer. This is a spin off for Nate from 'Her Guardian'. It can be read as a stand alone but you can read the previous book if you want to get a better understanding of the story
