Lavender skies.
Solid ground.
The last whispered ghost of a wind.
But it was those stark, grey railings that really threw him off, shooting out of the ground at seemingly random angles. They extended upwards past the point of being visible, slicing the world between each of their own infinite reach. They didn't amount to buildings, nor suggested any true prior construction. They simply... existed. To all appearances, without purpose.
