Until, they graduated from college and was able to finally leave their nest. They both were able to get jobs in New York in which they decided to live there for a while. Then tragedy struck, Wanda has lost her other half in a motorcycle accident that broke her to pieces and left her extremely depressed. She had to go back to their home country for his funeral and to find a way to deal with her grief for a while. 3 months later, even when not fully healed, she decided to go back to New York on her own to try and move forward with her life.
