Vance Hopper has just transferred from France. He doesn't expect the warmest of welcomes seeing as his father is known in France for some peculiar things. What he definitely doesn't expect, is a group of idiots to take him by the hand and lead him down a path and life he never thought he would have. He also doesn't expect to fall in love at 17. Bruce Yamada has never fallen in love. He has seen his closest friends pine after each other and finally get together. He has always focused on his family, friends, and baseball. He's the towns sunshine, with his bright smiles and outgoing personality. He doesn't expect to be friends with a foreigner. He also doesn't expect to fall in love any time soon.
