Suzanne always told me, laughing, as though it were actually a joke that she wanted to kill herself but it was never the right time; there were always groceries to be bought and little brothers to be tucked in at night. one day, she was gone. and then, almost two years later, she knocked on my door like nothing has ever changed. but everything has changed.

The sun was bright today, beautiful even. Yunni's mind began to swirl into fits of happiness as she imagined how the warm sun would softly glowing upon her skin. When she finally ripped herself out of her reverie, she spotted the transport bus pulling in. Yunni slowly turned towards it only to be grabbed by the arm and tugged backward. "They are coming to personally pick you up, so please, sit here on this bench right here with me, won't you? Little one?" Maggie softly chimed. Silly old Maggie, still thinking I'm a child. Yunni sighed at the small woman as she calmly sat down next to her. Silly ol' Maggie. Upon sitting down, Yunni began to think. Ya know what, Maggie hasn't even mentioned the asylum's name. Guess I better ask before I forget. "So Maggie, mind telling me what this new place is called?" "Mount Massive Asylum, dear." "Oh...interesting!"
