Have you ever thought when you were little that you could have magical powers? Maybe you did but then you grew up and you forgot about it. But what if I told you that there are people with these special gifts? They could be you, or me, or your classmates. And some of those people found a place for them - a school. Aveus Umbras Academy or for short "AU Academy" is somewhere in upstate NY. Why somewhere? Because even if you search every corner of every aisle, you won't be able to find this school. The Gate will present itself only to those with "magical blood". Between those students is also one girl, Kaitlin, a freshman at Aveus Academy. This story follows Kaitlin and her life at the academy, unraveling the secrets of her past, talks about the hardships of her present, and her mystical future. A contemporary NA urban fantasy story with academy and mythic elements - perfect for fans of Percy Jackson, The Magicians and Harry Potter. This story consists of multiple books. Parts: - Descendants of Magic (finished) - Heirs of Power (finished) - Queen of Wolves (ongoing) © Dannie Lex

**Power through sacrifice - at Ravenhurst Academy, this isn't just a motto.** In the heart of the British Empire, where towering spires pierce the heavens and the gods are revered as guardians of progress, Ravenhurst Academy stands as the pinnacle of elite magical education. Here, the brightest talents are forged into mages, wielders of extraordinary spells destined to shape the Empire's future. But power is not without its price. When Osric Finch, a boy from the humble village of Brynwode, is plucked from obscurity and thrust into Ravenhurst's grand halls, he finds himself swept up in a whirlwind of secret societies, political undercurrents, and friendships tested in the crucible of power. Yet beneath the Academy's gilded halls lies an unspoken truth-a sacred trial that will bind every student to a destiny they cannot escape. As hidden forces stir and rivalries flare, Osric will face challenges that test not only his magical abilities but also his sense of identity, loyalty, and belonging. Intrigue, danger, and moral dilemmas weave through this spellbinding tale. Ravenhurst Academy is perfect for fans of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell and The Amulet of Samarkand. *************************** New chapter every Friday. Feedback welcomed :)

Erik's mate, Katharina, died eighty years ago. Werewolf mates are for life; there are no break-ups or second chances. On the night of the Blood Moon, an event that takes place once every hundred years, the Moon Goddess descends to earth and decides to grant Erik a wish, a once-in-a-lifetime exception to the rule. But gods are generally wicked, and the wish comes with complicated consequences, like a rose with many thorns. The new mate would be one human, ignorant to all their rules and costumes, even to their existence. She will embody the hope of all mateless wolves to not spend their life alone and will attract any werewolf almost hypnotically and pathologically until she is finally claimed by somebody on the night of the Blue Moon. Erik is haunted by guilt and pledges to protect her till the Blue Moon is over, even against himself and against her own will... * Part of the idea of this story was contained in a contest here on Wattpad (Golden Writer contest). Unfortunately it got canceled and the girl (Tricia DS) deleted her profile, but the story stuck into my mind for a while so I decided to write it down in the end. What I kept of the original idea plot: 1.The fact that the original mate died and that second chances are given once a decade. 2.The new mate can be only human. 3. Multiple werewolves will feel attracted to her. 4. He will kidnap her at some point in the story. Hereby I am giving credit for the idea. All the rest belongs to me, should not be copied and bla, bla, it is a work of fiction and should be viewed as such. As I know myself it will contain violence and mature stuff so be aware. Artwork from the images is mine unless stated otherwise. The story is a slow burn so the romance will develop slowly, to set correct expectations. If you get to the second book that one is more smutty :D.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

A smug smile grew on his lips as he drank me in.
