Ava is a little special,she has super speed like the flash,but she got her powers by accident when she accidentally spilled some chemicals on herself and only Luz knows that she has powers,that is until she meets Eda and the others.she also discovers much more about her past. With the single exception of his pre-teen neighbour Luz Noceda, he doesn't hate her but he regrets ever letting it slip he's a published author. He knows she means well, reminds him a lot of himself at her age and all the sour tales that followed that wide eyed naive boy.
