She struggles with how and when to share her secret with the people she cares about most and how to ask out the girl of her dreams. Will everything go as planned? Will her family accept her? Will Honeymaren say yes? She comes back to the Enchanted Forest with Kristoff and Sven at her side-all in hopes of winning over Honeymaren.

Since Elsa moved into the enchanted forest, she protects the forest and everyone who lives in it. Everything is in perfect order - if there were not these unsettling feelings that Honeymaren is increasingly causing her. As if the emotional chaos wasn't already difficult enough for the snow queen, a strange drought begins to spread and threaten life in the forest. With the support of Anna, Elsa tries to face both problems. But in the end, she has to go into the Mountain of Fire and be ready to lose everything - in order to gain everything ...

After years of isolation and journeying to find her true self, Elsa is beginning to fit in with the Northuldra people. Especially with one person in particular...

MODERN ELSAMAREN AU FIC Elsa has been living a peaceful life with her sister, there was nothing more that she could ask for. With her ice and snow manipulating powers, there were hindrances to Elsa's life like having to conceal it from the world, but there, too, were privileges that she gained from it. Nobody else other than Anna and Kristoff knew of her secret until one early morning, Elsa had the need to unleash it and she barely noticed a stranger that had later come to be a witness to Elsa putting her powers into use. This stranger happened to be Honeymaren. Elsa was left with the terrifying thought of someone else unravelling her secret that she had successfully hidden for years. And, frankly, that was only the beginning.

After the events on Frozen II, Elsa stayed in the forest, where she got to meet Honeymaren, a new friend, or maybe more than that. Meanwhile in Arendelle, Anna tries to get used to all the changes while planning her wedding with Kristoff. *obvious frozen II spoiler alert* *obvious lgbt content alert (does that even count as an alert?) anyways, so just don't read it if you don't like it* *mild swearing alert* ~kind of slow updates~

This is the hardest challenge Elsa faced in her entire life. If she wanted to stay in this forest and enjoy it with Honeymaren as how she wishes things to be, she should definitely stop acting weird around the woman she liked. Control her powers. Be herself. And perhaps, confess.

An Elsamaren story

"Your hands are cold." Honeymaren whispered with a giggle, snuggling into Elsa's shoulder. "Wait, really? I'm so sorry the cold doesn't really affect me so I can't tell half of the time-." As long as I get more time with you right now, I don't care if your hands are cool." - Set after Frozen 2, Elsa has been trying to settle in to the Enchanted Forest and be friendly with the Northuldra people, especially with a particular brunette. After a few stumbling weeks, Elsa begins to realise her feelings and writes them down in a secret journal that she plans to never show anyone. What if Anna comes to visit with Kristoff, Sven and Olaf and ends up finding the journal? What if she tries so hard to get Elsa and Honeymaren together that she doesn't end up seeing the upcoming horrors in their path?
