Tommy has watched his campsite be blown up 3 times in the past month and he's done. He's done with wars, done with violence, and done with fighting. How odd. The great Tommyinnit not wanting to fight anymore. So Tommy sends Ghostbur back to L'manburg permanently and assures him that he'll be back eventually, but Tommy knows that he won't. Tommy smiles as he watches Ghostbur fly away. Tommy goes to live in the Nether with the lava that he loves and no one knows where he went, not even Dream. It's been 3 years and no one's heard anything from Tommy, his exile had just been lifted. Tommy left a note addressed to Ranboo though.

At first, Tommy ran. He ran to his friends in Manburg, running into their arms for safety once he discovered his brother has gone insane. However, after Tubbo did something to him, Tommy became numb.
