Sequel to 'Broken Allegiance'
Ember is finally learning how to adapt to the concept of family, as she rejoins Team Prime, and fully this time. Now thoroughly embracing her identity as Aegis's last Emissary, Ember grows more adept with her powers as the odds rise against her, and the family she'd sworn to protect. Validity bending has driven her to come out of her shell and embrace her true identity as a leader, friend, mentor, diplomat, ambassador, and right-hand woman. But even with reality bent in one's favor over another, there's still a constant that the girl with the code name still can't seem to outrun: her past. Even after defecting from the Bolshevik cause and from the way of MECH and the Soviets, Ember is forced to employ a disguise while clawing toward a fractured peace. Like a fate she can never run from, Ember tries to escape the past that seemingly keeps locating her. But regardless of whether she ends up overcoming them, they give way to something even dierer than herself.

Decepticon reinforcements emanate from a dying beacon on Cybertron and from across galaxies. Many more rise to rival the Autobots' reinforcements, even to the point where giants are awoken. Still, as each side, Autobot and Decepticon, strains to gather their aid, Ember begins to realize that evil is more than what is tangible. Evil can be unseen, too, often in places least expected. At a point, Ember believes the war was over...
