What would you do if you found out your husband of eighteen years was having an affair? No, please. Don't answer now. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬. Eighteen years, not eighteen days. We have a history. A family. There's a long road between suspicion, footprints left in the sand, and the absolutely devastating truth that life as you know it has ended. I saw it all coming. Felt it in my bones. Late nights at work. Sleeping at the office. I felt the distance - how his eyes couldn't hold my stare anymore. Secretive texts late at night. Lipstick stains where they didn't belong. Unfamiliar scents on a man who should always smell like him and me. 𝘏𝘪𝘮 & 𝘮𝘦. But when a third person enters your marriage... There's nothing left anymore. My name is Cecily, and this is the story of how my life was 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 - and how I survived 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦.

To most people, my husband is Viper. VP of the Devil's Rejects MC, hard, uncompromising, and completely committed to the club and his brothers. But the man I fell in love with was simply Roman, a man who called me Sunshine, and treated me like I was his treasure. By the time I realized the club would always come first, I was in too deep. And when his enemies came for me? He wasn't there to protect me because he was busy protecting her. And that I don't know how to forgive. Now I'm building a new life for myself without Roman. He promises he will give up everything to win me back, but promises are cheap and his aren't worth much. When we discover our enemies are still alive and planning to strike out again, however, I might not have any choice but to put my life in the hands of the man who's already let me down once.

This contains only the first four chapters. The book will be published in January on Amazon after edits. A dark, haunting romance of control, obsession, and the woman who dared to walk away. Rune knew exactly what she was doing when she entered Dorian Black's world. He was cold, brilliant, and untouchable-a man who didn't believe in love, only contracts. She accepted the role he offered: loyal secretary, occasional lover, silent shadow. Bound by rules. Defined by limits. But when her usefulness runs out, Dorian discards her like all the others. Only this time, Rune walks away carrying something he never planned for .And a truth she's kept hidden for years. Now, as she prepares to rebuild the life she left behind, Dorian is forced to confront what he thought he controlled. Because Rune was never meant to matter. She was supposed to leave his life untouched. But some bonds go deeper than desire. And some memories don't stay down. A slow-burn tale of longing, betrayal, and the quiet strength it takes to choose yourself.

I allowed myself to look past my intuition and distrust of a certain someone and their interactions with my fiancé ... I mean ex-fiancé. I chose trust in him over distrust of her at every crossroads his choices created, and now I'm lost. Maybe breaking it down again, piece by piece will help me look at the big picture logically. Maybe then I can feel less illogical pain and find my way back to myself again. A story about a relationship breaking down because of broken boundaries and a breakdown in communication.

Then she found a lump in her breast, and I made the worst choice: I numbed my fear by sleeping with someone else. My worst mistake and my biggest regret. Now I see Sophie around town with him. She's radiant and laughing with people who actually show up. I'm trying to learn how to be a man who does. If she lets me, I'll spend the rest of my life proving I can choose her when it's hardest. If she lets me... SOPHIE I thought the promise was in sickness and in health. But he buried his fear in someone else. On the same night, I walked into a bookstore and met the gentle giant owner, who invited me to his book club full of misfits. I'm laughing again, I'm smiling more than I ever have, and I'm healing my heart. My bookstore owner keeps showing up like it's as easy as breathing. I don't know what the future holds; I don't know if I'll win this battle against cancer, but I do know I'm done wasting time on people who love only when it's easy. CALLUM She came into Rivers & Rhodes Bookstore and asked for books with happy endings only. I gave her a recommendation, an invitation, and an offer of friendship. Now, this beautiful, brave woman is completely under my skin. I'm not here to win a competition against him. I'm here because choosing someone, second by second, is the only way I understand love.

Not because I want to be, but because family comes first-and unfortunately, that means transferring to Ridgewater University. The same school Zach owns like a second skin. Still hot. Still cocky. Still the campus golden boy with a hockey stick. And still the last person I want to deal with. But I'm not the shy, awkward girl he used to know. I've changed. I've moved on. I'm no longer the girl who used to follow him around like a lost puppy. This time, I'm not the one getting benched.
