Fourteen-year-old Violet Chiccolini is the younger sister of Tony, who works as a doorman. She moved to New York City to live with Tony after their parents' divorce. Due to his job, Tony is unable to take care of Violet properly, so he hires Jessie, his friend and crush, to be Violet's nanny.
