This takes place in the beginning of season three, when raps gets back. Varian has been trying to heal, forgive himself and deal with the town hating him. He tries so hard to help, to be a better person but people only see the monster that tired to hurt their Princess. Raps gives him the job of deciphering the Demanatis scroll. What happens to Varian when he learns more about the moonstone, and who it truly belongs to. Will the people fear him more, will he forgive himself for what he has done, and most importantly, what dose Catalina think of him. This is going to be my own version of the Moon Varian theory as well as my own Varian redemption arc. My own take on Season Two as far as we have (plus my own version of future events). It's happily ever after, after all, but in this 'tangled' world more mysteries wait to be uncovered. When Varian finds out about his mother's scientific work and her quest to find the Eternal Library, he knows he must pick up where she left off and maybe find his own destiny along the way.
