In Galar, wild pokemon have evolved to live like humans, and this is where our story takes place. Electra a spontaneous Cinderace is now on her own, trying to finish up school and sustain herself with her job. She is surrounded by her childhood friends but sometimes feels like she can't tell them how she really feels sometimes. First was the result of the death of her parents, that remains unexplainable, and she and her irresponsible brother Eddy had moved in with her aunt and uncle until they were fully evolved. Going through her relationships romantic and not, things start to get harder for her, especially asking for help. Will she learn that her friends are there for her when she needs them, or will she be stuck in a city of frustration for who knows how long? In the ruins of a place known as Aventuela lies the nation of Twillis, a shining Capitol by twelve outlying districts. Sixteen-year-old Claudius Emberdeen, a Raboot with one eye, has rebeled against the idea to himself over the course of his life. When he is put on the line, he has too many choices to make, and what seems like not enough time.
