"If I May Be So Bold" is the third book in the "This Time, Last Time" series. It takes place fifteen years after book two ends. This is a Harry Potter Universe Fanfiction, but no canon characters are used except by mention. This is the story of James Mason, a Hogwarts professor, Elise Walsh, head of the aurors' department, and their daughters.

For readers of "This Time, Last Time" and "Glass Pieces" -- a Harry Potter fanfiction series without canon characters. Sometimes when I feel stuck about writing, I'll write a scene from another character's perspective that wouldn't ever make it into the actual book, so here's a collection of miscellaneous scenes/rewritten chapters from the perspective of characters other than James, mostly Elise and Raigan, but maybe Piper at some point, too.

"Glass Pieces" is a Harry Potter Universe Fanfiction and the sequel to "This Time, Last Time," picking up just a few weeks after the last book left off. As usual, all major characters are original. Canon characters exist only be mention, but the story exists within JK Rowling's timeline. Heading back to Hogwarts in September, Professor James Mason's life is in a very different place. With former girlfriend and Senior Auror Elise Walsh back in his life in a very serious way, he's got more to juggle than ever, and things aren't through changing yet. "Glass Pieces" is a story of merging families and trying to find a balance between all the people who need you.

"This Time, Last Time" is the story of James Mason, a Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who's trying to balance a present that's making him confront a past he's buried deep down for eleven years. Asked to return to his former position in the auror's office at the Ministry of Magic during the summer holiday, James finds himself juggling not only a complicated investigation to protect the International Statute of Secrecy, but a personal life that was difficult enough to maneuver before he found himself back in the same space as Elise Walsh, the girl he once almost married. Between coming to terms with an ending neither one of them properly addressed, and helping his widowed best friend Raigan to raise her daughter Piper, James' loyalties are stretched thin. Written in alternating time periods, "This Time, Last Time" takes place between the early 2000s, in the years immediately following the second wizarding war, and the late 20-teens. (Author's Note: "This Time, Last Time" takes place wholly in the Harry Potter Universe. However it uses no canon characters, except by mention. Everything in JK Rowling's series exists as absolutely true in this book, but all characters are of my own creation. The world-conflict in this story is a succession of that mentioned in my other book "ELIXR." It is absolutely not necessary to read the first to understand this book. They are completely standalone. However, their world is synonymous and many of the major characters in this book make appearances in "ELIXR" and vice versa.)
