There she befriended Dobby and Ollivanders, who also got caught by Death Eaters. They kept her safe while she gave them hope of survival. However, tragedy struck when a couple of Death Eaters took Luna to a room where she got torture for information on the whereabouts of Harry Potter. Wanting Harry to save the Wizarding World, she stood her ground, which caused one of the Death Eaters, Bellatrix, to get mad to the point that she killed her with the Killing Curse. Feeling horrible for what happened to Luna, Valar Gods agreed that she should deserve a second chance to live in their world. Thus, they send her off to a world called Middle Earth where her Soul Mate, a lonely Elven King called Thranduil, lives, and she will change him and those around him for the better or the 'worst.'

Aranel excepted a proposal from the Elven King only to get out of Rivendale, not for love. She didn't realize what it was like to be a queen or how cold hearted Thranduil actually was. She continued to try and change him but his refusal to move on from the past continued to drag her down further into heartbreak. Thranduil tried to test her and get under her skin but she always seemed to put him in pain from elbowing to spiting and biting. She was not his first wife, so why would he try? She married him for convenience not for love, but why can't she stop herself from getting feelings for him?
