It is a journey to Heaven, and a long road ahead, and Tomioka Giyuu finds this out for himself after his passing on Earth. Reunited with an old friend, the two journey on the almost everlasting road to heaven, in their life after death, or the life before afterlife. This is their second life after all. Giyuu has been turned into a demon, and is no longer the water hashira, but now known as the demon hashira. What happens when a new water breather has joined. This story contains twists, and isn't circled around Sabigiyuu, actually you will get rare sights of Sabigiyuu, but it's the main ship.

Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu were rescued by Shinobu and Tomioka after their mission on Mt. Natagumo. While the three swordsmen are taking their sleep, a sudden noise and a blinding light sent them to a mysterious room alongside with the Hashiras and their swordsmiths. What would they react to see Tanjiro's previous life and how he became one of the greatest Demon Slayers in the present.

He's not sure how but Rengoku Kyojuro fell hard for the painfully oblivious and "emotionless" water pillar, Tomioka Giyu. Giyuu was sick not that any of the other pillars knew (or cared, so he thought). He was hit by a blood demon art in the final selection when he saw his best friend die right before his eyes, right when something inside him snapped and Giyuu lost the light in his eyes. His time was running out... Not that he cared he was happy that death would show its ugly face to him so that he could die, be at peace, and with his best friend again. Giyuu feared being a lone but he feared the pain of losing one close to him again so he distanced himself from his fellow hashiras, for that very reason as well as the facts that he knew his time was short (so he didn't want anyone to care about him), and that he didn't deserve to be a hashira it should've been Sabito. But will Giyuu open himself up to the possibility of loving another once more? Find a reason to fight to stay alive? Tomioka Giyuu is emotionally and physically scarred from his sister and best friends' death. He's very quiet and distances himself from others just so that he doesn't get attached and his bad luck spreads on to them. He has suicidal thoughts and uses unhealthy coping mechanisms to help with the pain and suffering. Through out the story, we learn more about Giyuu's past and why he is how he is in the present and we will also see how Giyuu overcomes his negative and suicidal thoughts and becomes happy once again. Tomioka Giyuu is one of the strongest Pillars in the Demon Slayer Corps. He has a silent but deadly persona and isn't known for talking to others, gaining him no friends among the Hashira. But what happens when the Pillar gets sick and his secrets that he hid from the other Pillars and his sensei get revealed. Especially when a very familiar face from Tomioka's past comes back from the shadows.
