But after the unsuspected rise of the Banished, humanity struggled to put up effective resistance with only mild victories with heavy causalities. With the war now stumping towards Earth and the threat of total annihilation, Humanity decided to venture outwards into space, towards new frontiers, and to establish a new cradle of Humanity. However, before they could fully prepare their trip, the Banished attacked, and leveled Earth. With now only three flagships and three and a half million souls on board their vessels, they must establish a new home or otherwise face ultimate extinction.
