Jade and her older brother Billy co parent to take care of their younger sister Max. Susan Hargrove, their mom is someone who drinks a lot, and couldn't be bothered to take care of her kids. Jade is incredibly smart, she keeps to her self a lot only talking to her friends. Eddie Munson is the one person who can make Jade feel like steam is going to come out of her ears.
