Shalnark and Feitan confess their feelings to Uvogin and Phinks and think they are rejected from the way their crushes reacted. After they get 'rejected' a fire starts in the Phatom troupes current base and the rest of the troupe leave Shalnark and Feitan locked in the burning base to die. Once Shalnark and Feitan find out they had left them to die they get heartbroken after being betrayed by the people they thought they could trust, so they decide to rebel against the Phatom troupe making their own team of theives, and they swore to kill their ex friends for betraying them. Of course you can't rebel against your friends who abandoned you because your gay, without showing your true self. But the real question is, did the Phantom troupe really abandon Shalnark and Feitan?

After being brought back by the Spirit Queen, and fighting the most dangerous demons ever, as well as being forgiven by Kurapika for killing his clan, Uvogin and Shalnark ask themselves "What now?"
