Her biological parents are Grady and Edaline, and her sister is Jolie. The Neverseen and the Black Swan don't exist; all members are still alive, and their secret identities (such as Forkle, Granite, Umber, etc) don't exist. Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter. Will she go after him or honor his wishes? Spoilers if you haven't read Unlocked. But if you're like me and aching to read the next book I hope this fanfic will help you with the wait. Enjoy! ~~~ She sat frozen, hardly allowing herself to breathe. Keefe was... gone? Shock paralyzed her whole body as her mind processed this thought. "No." Sophie muttered, sure she had to have gotten it wrong. This was all a misunderstanding right? Maybe she'd read it wrong... or maybe it was a joke. Yes. A joke, that's what it had to be. It had to be a joke. Cause this? Keefe leaving? Never seeing him again? If that were true... if this was real... She'd never survive the coming war. ~~~ He was so close. He turned towards her side of the bed, snaked his arms around her waist, and slide his leg between hers, kissing the back of her neck lightly until she started to wake. She hummed with a smile as she turned in his arms to look at him, "Early riser are we?" He smiled and placed a small kiss on her forehead before replying. "I have to go soon, it's almost 5," he whispered. She frowned and put her own arms around his torso holding him against her. "No. I forbid it. Stay with me."
