After the incident at Nevermore, Wednesday wasn't sure if she would ever return. What was left for her there? Traces of ash from the fire? The office of a trusted friend she killed? Memories of her betrayal? Her roommate? Wednesday was only a little surprised when she was standing outside the grand doors at the start of the second semester at Nevermore Academy. After her time back with her family, a break from the school she once despised her parents for sending her to, she realized that she wasn't done.
