"Whatever," I say, standing up and walking into the kitchen. "At least I don't wear sunglasses inside."
"What the fuck did you just say to me?" He says in a low voice.
All smiles are now gone from his face. Looks like I struck a nerve. I smile wider. "What? You can dish it, but you can't take it?" I say innocently.
He walks up to me and pushes me suddenly against the refrigerator, holding both his arms on either side of my head, his palms pressed flat against the cold surface.
"You think you know everything? You think you know me?" he says lowly, anger very clear in his tone. Our faces are less than inches away, I can feel his warm breath on my ear. "You don't. Because if you even had a clue who I was, you wouldn't have said that." This is the angriest I've ever seen him.
I reach up and grip his hair, pulling him away so his mouth is away from my ear and now we're standing face to face, noses almost touching. I won't back down. That's what he wants. "I'm not afraid of you," I say back in a low tone.
