Where Bruce loved the outdoors, Vance preferred to stay inside. Where Bruce was always joking around, Vance took everything seriously. It wasn't that they disliked each other - in fact, they never actually had a one on one talk with each other - but there was an undeniable tension between them that neither could quite put their finger on.
