Merlin was captured and spelled into an Iron Mask which prevents him from using his magic. Arthur rescues him and has to find a way to remove the mask. There is no actual rape-non con in the story. Only prior. Only a small amount of Torture in the story and some descriptions of it. Non-graphic. Just at the beginning. This is Hurt/Comfort Drama Romance with a dark element thrown in. Merlin is just doing his job. Heading into the Tavern with Arthur he never imagined seeing an extremely hot drunken man who goes by the name of Gwaine. What happens when Arthur gets jealous seeing Merlin and Gwaine's close 'friendship' knowing he could never be that close to Merlin let alone love him. Merlin botched up a spell he was working on. He decided to make a potion without the help of Giaus. Messing up the pronunciation of one word and a healing potion becomes a truth syrum. Three days of nothing but the truth. Any question he's asked, the truth will come out. "What are you hiding from me?" No matter how hard Merlin tried, he couldn't stop his voice from speaking. "I love you." This story is now complete! I just didn't mark it as such because I am still uploading extras! But the main story is done.

It's gay, because well Merhur Some language, mild violence, slight reader discretion advised. I do not own Merlin, only this version of the story. He only heard a faint bump when he should have heard something a lot louder. Merlin's fears from the previous day came true as he sat there in bed trying to process it. The ringing had gone, but he still couldn't hear anything. OR Merlin gets injured in a fight and is rendered temporarily deaf. He doesn't want Arthur to find out, but he does anyway.
