Sail the high seas in search of riches beyond the imagination with Captain Oros and his crew of motley and dangerous corsairs from around the whole of Middle Earth. In search of a mythical shipwreck said to hold the untold riches of the long dead Arvedui, the last Arnorian King, Captain Oros and First Mate Fendwall scour the shores for the hardest and strongest sailors to join them. Who they find may very well be more than the two friends can handle alone, but such is the walk of their life. With a fresh crew in hand and vast seas to sail, Oros sets out in search of his greatest undertaking. With a crew as lawless and crafty as this, old grievances quickly rise among new quarrels and mutiny is never a far thought. Will Oros be able to keep command of The White Raider long enough to reach Arvedui's fabled treasure? Is there any treasure?

Roper is a Dúnedan - a Ranger. As a child he was brought up in the Bree-Land, but after the kidnapping of his brother, Gandalf took him away to join his kin in the protection of West: a solemn calling laid upon the descendants of Isildur. From the troubled boarders of the Shire to the growing darkness of Mirkwood, He must learn what it means to be a Ranger - to face hardship and toil and love for the protection of Middle Earth. While there are well-known characters including Gandalf, Legolas, Tom Bombadil and Golberry, and Elladan and Elrohir, Roper is a completely original character as is Lorellin - a daughter of the Dúnedain whom he works beside - and I am not following any part of LotR or The Hobbit, as this story takes place years before. This is a preliminary draft, and I do appreciate support! Enjoy!

From the shadowed East he came, where mercy is forgotten and the sword is law. In the distant lands beyond the Sea of Rhûn, the Easterlings raise their sons not with songs, but with steel. Rukil, son of none and heir to nothing, was forged in battle and tempered by cruelty. From childhood he has known only strife, fighting in bloodstained arenas for the amusement of warlords and kings who delight in death. But the winds of the world are shifting. When Rukil crosses paths with one who sees more in him than a blade to be wielded, a long-slumbering purpose stirs in his heart. Drawn westward by fate and fire, he begins a journey that will test the very core of his being. In lands he has only heard of in whispers, he will find friendship, treachery, and a light he thought forever lost. It is a tale of war and of mercy, of ruin and of redemption. Set in the year 3017 of the Third Age, one year before Frodo Baggins sets forth from the Shire, this is the second volume in the Middle-earth Stories.
