It's been a year since the events of Sundays with Charles. Charles and Erik are a happily married couple, living together and raising Erik's two children together. However, with Charles' busy schedule he's working almost all the time and the two find it hard to actually spend quality time together. On top of that Pietro experiences certain troubles at school that he is not willing to share with his family, while Erik begins to suspect Charles too is keeping secrets of his own. Sunday is long gone and weekdays take over. In the midst of problems and challenges it is difficult to keep the ray of sunlight from a happy distant Sunday.

Charles gets hit by Erik Lehnsherr's car and wakes up in a hospital, realizing he can't feel his legs. Will he ever be able to forgive the man who caused this? After the accident Charles has a lot of things to get used to. Instead he gets depressed. Erik on the other hand is determined to help him despite his resistance and despite how much Charles hates Erik. Slowly their fighting turns into a beautiful friendship and maybe even more. But Charles can't shake the feeling that Erik's only doing it out of guilt...

Raven lives with her brother, Charles, a 21 year old who teaches at a local college. Charles has a crush on a guy in a book store. What Raven doesn't know is that she has a greater part in this bookstore romance than she would ever imagine.

Erik is the first mutant president and a strong believer in Separatism. Charles is a mutant rights activist and an Integrationist. He wants to make the President see how wrong he is about mutants and humans not being able to live in peace. Charles Xavier has been through too much. After losing his mobility after the events of the mission in Cuba, he's a shell of the man he used to be. Finding release in alcohol, he tries to forget all of what he has lost. He tries to move on with his new, broken family. But one man stands in the way of his happiness- the same man who took it away to begin with and broke his family. The same man who had caused Charles to become paralyzed from the waist down- Erik Lehnsherr. Erik has been racked with guilt ever since he had injured Charles- but he doesn't know how bad it is. After Michael Fassbender gets a dream featuring his and James McAvoy's characters, the two actors realize they have Charles and Erik's mutation. They have to learn how to control their new powers, hide them from others, film their movie, and get their abilities back to their characters before the worst comes and destroys everything.
