About four years ago I wrote this story. Within the last year I decided to go back and read it again, and let's just say, the writing was a tad too cringe for my liking. However since I loved my storyline and my old version didn't do it justice, I had the wonderful idea of rewriting it, common for writers I guess lol. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the original and the rewrite and let me know what you think! The story clip is from the rewrite. --- I don't believe it... he's a vampire! The blood pulsing through my veins ran cold, chilling every inch of my body with it's frosty bite. I subconsciously reached towards the bullets on my side and silently cursed myself off for purposely leaving them behind. Never again, I swear, will I disbelieve the leaders or leave the camp without those darn golden bullets with me! I slowly took a step back, knowing full well that if I stay'd it would turn into a death trap. Yet, how dense can I truly be? I'm a trained soldier but... My foot snagged against a wire at my heel, every fiber in my being halted to stop. I never even had the chance to fathom what was happening when the ground beneath me disappeared, a boom rang in the distance, buts thats all. A feathery, softness enveloped my body, protecting me from the deathly results that could have been. I slowly opened my eyes, everything was blurry at first from the pressure I'd put on them moments before. As they came into focus a pair of baby blue eyes stared right at me. My feet landed safely on the ground, but nothing made sense. How did that bomb not kill me? How did I get so far from it? Who was this person that somehow rescued me?

"Why are we running, and why did we leave Adi behind?" I asked as we continue forward, through the forest and the dark trees. I had no idea what was going on, one minute I was having a friendly conversation and the next I'm sprinting like a demon's on my heels. "Nik, what is going on? Also, where in the world is Malik?" "No time to explain, we just have to keep moving," Nik replied, out of breath "I'm sorry this is happening, but we didn't think he'd make a move, not with Hornwell keeping such a close eye on him." I was beginning to think he really had gone mad, so I squirmed my hand out of his grip and stopped. "I'm so sick and tired of this! I know that you and Malik are keeping something from me," I said to him, incredibly frustrated, "I know that it's been happening for a while and I hate being kept in the dark all the time. I want you to tell me what's going on and I'm not moving from this spot until you do." He sighed and turned to face me, "I really want to tell you, believe me, I do, but we can't do it here. If we don't keep moving then it's going to-" The snapping of a twig interrupts and we both go still as stone, not knowing what to do. Nik started to move forward, ever so careful not to make sound, and he almost reached me before someone beats him to it and grabbed me from behind. __________________________________________________________________________ To give a bit more information the story is basically about supernatural myths and monsters. And how it all connects back to the main character Amara. I don't want to give too much away but if anyone has a question I'm happy to answer it. This is just something that I made in my free time, and I hope that anyone who comes across it enjoys! A man named Dom crash lands on an island that has never been found before. He finds a man named Brad (that happened to be his friend) had survived the plane crash also. They both fight through diseases and other types of dangers like hunger. They hunt for food and build a home hoping that they will be found soon.

An American spy named Joshua is out on a mission to find his enemy target and happens to find out that another spy named Kacey was on the same mission with him. They both fall in love and fight side by side to capture and or kill there enemies.

An American soldier named Thomas wakes up from a grenade blast in Russia. He finds his friend Brad shot in the leg during the battle and saves his life. When Brad got better, Thomas and Brad end up making a platoon of members and they all work together to kill the Russian leader and save their country. But in order to do that, they had to go through many different missions to get to the Russian leader and kill him.

Views being right or wrong is circumstantial. Decisions based on views could either fit the situation perfectly or they could be dead wrong. But the views can't be rejected based on the fated outcome. This story is about two superheroes named Dania Paracha and Dominic Keane in a cyborg society. These heros have feelings unlike the other cyborgs. They fight off super villains and work together to save there world.
